Item #1015. A fine antique English sextant made by H. Macrae, Aldgate, London, circa 1840. Glued in the lid is a trade card from F. W. Lincoln of Boston. He probably either sold or repaired the sextant at some time. Lincoln was the grandson of Paul Revere. The box is mahogany, 10 3/4" by 13" with minor repair. The sextant is brass. The optics are all intact and in good condition. Price $950.00.
